Real Wedding: Alyce + Kris | The Old Dairy, Maleny Wedding

Alyce and Kris didn’t want to be apart from their guests on their wedding day. So happening upon The Old Dairy on a drive up the range one day was fate.

Maleny Wedding Venue

The Maleny wedding venue had everything the couple were looking for – a private, spacious property with areas that worked well to move through. This allowed them to break up the day for all their guests. Sneaking off for a few minutes to have their bridal party shoot at sunset was done quickly, without any fuss or need to travel.

The Old Dairy Maleny also offers a full catering kitchen, barn, accommodation, and of course that ceremony space overlooking the rolling hills of the Hinterland.

Floral Design

The ceremony arbour was designed whimsically with lots of life, appearing as though it was growing right before our eyes. This colour and movement was cohesively applied to the reception with table centrepieces spilling over the table ends. Sandi from Willow Bud designed these so beautifully, the effect was absolutely stunning.

Reception Styling

We consulted with the bride, groom and florist on the colour palette, pairing our terracotta linen napkins and oatmeal linen tablecloth to complement the warm-toned blooms. Our gold brushed cutlery, white Hampton’s chairs and pillar candles elevated the tablescape for a luxury feel.
