Our lovely bride, Hannah, knew exactly the colour palette she wanted to work with for her Mooloolaba wedding at Pier 33. Her brief was to use lots of neutrals and a soft pink. This was our starting point in designing her wedding aesthetic.
For a coastal wedding, soft pinks definitely mean orchids. Oh Honey Florals went to work creating floral concepts that centred around these and incorporated lush roses, again in a soft pink and also bringing in a deeper latte hue. We tied in seamlessly with the use of white and rattan Hampton’s style chairs and little details, like soft pink linen napkins.
To come up with your own wedding aesthetic, Hannah has this advice for brides, “Start a mood board of colours, and aesthetics you like. I honestly would recommend everyone who helped with the wedding – the flowers, the styling, the colours, it was all perfect.”
After a ceremony overlooking the Marina on a perfect sunny day, Hannah, her husband Oliver and their guests were able to relax and wander inside to the reception right there on site at Pier 33.
We were thrilled to style this gorgeous coastal wedding with such a lovely couple. Photographer Bonnie Jenkins captured the day beautifully, as you will see below.
