If there’s one thing we love, it’s a stunning Sunshine Beach wedding like this one.
Originally, Jacinta and Drew were all set to be married in 2020. I know, you see where I’m going with this… Covid 19 put their plans on the back-burner, as with so many couples last year!
Come 2021, their Sunshine Beach Wedding was rearranged, although another adventure was already underway by this stage. Life has a way of continuing on, and so when Jacinta fell pregnant with their first child, this didn’t stop her and Drew from going ahead with their wedding. After all, with all the turmoil of 2020, who knows what lay ahead?
And so on March 12th, 2021, Jacinta and Drew said their vows overlooking the picturesque and secluded Sunshine Beach. The day was all about having relaxed and romantic vibes by the ocean, which meant holding their ceremony and reception in one place – Sunshine Beach Surf Club.
We worked with Jacinta and Drew to style their coastal-themed wedding with a colour palette of neutrals, soft pinks, and florals with lush greens.
We love a bride with a baby bump here at Simply Style Co., so we’re super happy to share today’s Sunshine Beach wedding with you, with a few words from the bride herself.
Jacinta, what was your favourite part of your wedding day?
After a beautiful ceremony we had the chance to relax for some afternoon drinks in the sun overlooking the water with all our family and friends. Closely followed by dancing the night away upstairs at the reception.
When planning your wedding, was there a moment when you thought things were finally all coming together and you could envision YOUR day?
Having to postpone our 2020 wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we didn’t want to set our hopes too high just in case of a last minute lockdown. However, we did a run through the day before with our celebrant and events manager. At that time the sun was out, all our family had arrived from across borders and it started to feel like this wedding was actually going to happen!
Describe your experience working with Simply Style Co.
Rachelle and her team are amazing and were so accommodating for some last minute changes. Rachelle knows what she’s talking about and was able to set up my dream cocktail style reception that our wedding guests are still raving about.
